Hello everyone,

I just realised that my site´s traffic is pretty much depending on Google.

I want to work on Lycos.de/Fast traffic.
I have one page in lycos.de PR2 for my search term. Searching for that term in alltheweb doesn´t bring the same result.

It also is possible to submit(free) to lycos.de, is that a submit to fast?

I am a bit confused on where to start to get into lycos.de.
Should I research fast or lycos.de itself?
or whats the story...

LeClair - welcome to WmW!

Lets see if we can sort this out:
Lycos.de returns results in this order:
1) 2 Espotting paid listings
2) up to 6 titles of categories from Lycos directory
3) up to 3 listings from directory categories
4) regular listings from Fast, ordered by relevance.

For queries that don't get Espotting listings and category matches, the Fast results start on top of the page.

The Fast results in 4) are the same as given by Alltheweb.com. Of course it depends on choice of language - you either have to put the option in Lycos on worldwide or restrict Alltheweb results to german only.

Free submission you might do either on Fast or on Lycos.

So studying Fast gives you the key for targeting the whole group of Fast driven portals, including T-online.de.
It nevertheless can't hurt to study the portals too, like how do the directory listings show on the serps, what's with Espotiing etc.
