Hi all!!!
One question for you:
have you ever heard this search engine or site called www.cu2.nl ? Unfortunately I still don't speak Dutch so I can't understand what is written inside but I found it in the top referring sites in a Web Trends report.

It looks like it is not a normal search engine, but a 'foto-contact-site'. It seems to be some kind of dating/contact site.

I'll try to get one of our members from the Netherlands to take a look at it.

What Rumbas said - a contact site. No websearch whatsoever. Wolfy, you might give it a try - dutch women are pretty!

I noticed it wasn't a real engine but It looked strange that only for a picture it scored in a really high position in my referring sites.

Just to confirm:
Cu2.nl is a dating/contact site only. (I speak Dutch)

There is no websearch, just a search for members of the dating service.
The results on a search do not seem to link to outside domains, just to the profile pages.

They make an interesting claim on the homepage: they say they have 1215570 dutch members on file, 1 in 135 on the total dutch (offline) population.

They do have huge amounts of traffic, about 138.000 pageviews per day judging by their public tracker.

Oh my! That is quite a lot of traffic. Guess dating/contact sites are 'hot' there too?

Guess they are...don't have any experience in this field though.

From a quick look, they appear to be one of the few totally free dutch dating sites.
Might explain part of their succes.
