European intenet access is growing fast. Great figures, that Europemedia.net present.
They are derived from a JupiterMMXI report [uk.jupitermmxi.com].
Now what makes me wonder is that the same source has just presented figures for each country separetely, as discussed in the german thread [webmasterworld.com]. Those figures combined make a total of 65 Millions for UK and Germany. That would leave 27 Millions for France. Can that be true?
92 Millions is anyhow far more than Nielsen/Netratings has counted: See discussion here [webmasterworld.com].
As I take it those 92 Millions include everybody who could possibly access internet, via handy, via PC, in libraries and other public places and also in "friend´s houses".
That does not even exclude babys living in a household with a PC.

Whatever: the trends are clear:
- growth is much faster as in the somewhat saturated american market
- home internet access grows faster than work internet access
- online shopping is only starting to become as big as in the US
