From time to time altavista.se will produce results from the av.com index instead of its own. Quite often as of late. My guess is that they haven’t got the capacity to meet demand. When they get overloaded they just transfer requests to the more powerful av.com.
A bit frustrating as they give completely different results. Different index and different algo at random. Totally unpredictable.
Anybody else seeing the same on other local versions of av?
