How to get listed in msn.xx local language version?

specifically interested in msn.es but any hint is welcome

I do have some limited listings in msn.com, but when searched for my domain name the results include pages with links to my domain but do not have a single domain page.

How do you go about getting listed in the local (preferrably Spanish) msn?

Tricky question. I have always used TopDog and so have never had to confront the issue itself. Some - but not all - of the European MSN search pages have an add url page, such as MSN.de [msn.allesklar.de]. Spain is not one of them though.

The help functions at other MSN:s state that the way to get in is to use Looksmart, wherever they exist. But they only cover a few countries in Europe and Spain is not one of them either. MSN uses Inktomi for secondary results so that would be one way I guess.

I normally find submitting to inktomi will get me into the msn.co.uk, so I would presume thats the same for spain so long as you have a spainish domain otherwise it may not rank as well

I did do a search in Spanish in MSN.es and it looks as if they don't care about the domain. They don't even rank the es domain above other. What they want seems to be Spanish language.

The addURL-page in Germany is for adding to the directory "Allesklar" (which results are listed first on MSN.de). If your site is not able to get into the index of a directory -such like a doorwaypage- you have to go to Inktomi - the second results from MSN are from Inktomi, as rencke said.

The same in Austria; Allesklar.at first, then Inktomi results.
