According to Vision.se Yahoo will be closing their offices in Sweden and Norway. 18 employees at Yahoo.se will be laid off - some will be offered jobs at other Yahoo's.

Users will not "feel" the affect, as the site(s) remain the same - administration will be from London, says SWeden's Björn Modée.

Apparently Yahoo.dk will still run from Denmark.

I suppose we shouldn't be surprised. Yahoo has had a hard time competing with local directories and engines without a dominating market share in sight. As to Denmark, the server is at the same place as the Norwegian and Swedish, someplace here in Stockholm according to the trace I made. I don't think that they will manage to compete with Jubii, so if they have staff still in Denmark, I doubt if you will be seeing them for long.
