Just wondering if anyone can give me advise on accepting payments for a consulting/coaching website Im building.
Im based in UK and will be taking payments 200-300 pounds and possibly recurring billing. Ultimately want something that will take cc payments online but also via email, fax and phone if necessary.
Was going to use Paypal initally then add a merchant account a bit later (as Im a bit short of cash).
Had looked at Paysystems but found that taking payments over phone/email etc will cost additional $50 month.
Also thinking of using WorldPay.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advise based on their experiences. Thanks.

In my experice as far as customer service and support go I'd say that Secpay wins hands down. When recnelty integrated Scepay with a shopping cart system. When I needed help and support they were always available on the end of phonw and were knowledgeable and friendly.
There are numerous ways of hooking into the SECPAY system. I have just finished a site that uses a form and a custom Perl script which handles the callback from Secpay (which tells you whether the transaction has gone through etc.).
Does the webiste you building have ecommerce functionality and a backend that can hook into a payment services provider?
