Multi-vendor shopping carts?

Hola, I have a need for an e-cart that allows me to include multiple vendors from different locations. Products may be a mix of drop shipping from different locations and FOB from my warehouse. So I'll need to be able to both calculate appropriate shipping charges for each vendor as well as notify each of orders placed.

I've used osCommerce for all of my single source carts but I haven't done anything with multiple vendors yet. Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Both AbleCommerce and MIVA are capable of doing this, but you will end up paying for multiple licences. It sounds like there may be some customization needed as well.

Isn't AbleCommerce a Win only package? My host is Linux.

AbleCommerce will run on Apache Tomcat on Linux, but I've never tried it myself (on Linux, only Windows).

Allrighty then - I've discovered X-Cart and would be curious to learn if anyone has experience with it.

Another thought is that I could take the time to modify osCommerce though I don't relish the thought of it.
