Needed for small setup

I'm newish to all this and am wondering what the best webstore software available is for approx $300 / £200.
Am planning on no more than 200 products at first.
The names that I am familiar with are Shopsite, Storefront and Erol. Don't really want to pay ongoing fees, much prefer one off payment, although I gather there's a yearly fee for SSL.

Ok try either VPASP.com cost around $175 for the top product or try OSCOMMERCE.com, again excellent product.

Becareful! I have paid $275 in teh past on a piece of ecommerce software and didnt ever use it... Try before you buy.
