Are they up from last year or down?

Just curious about what every body is experiencing for sales this mother's day? This is supposed to be a very big time of year for my industry - but I was not in this industry last year to compare.

I have a feeling that with the american economy not doing so hot and sars, war and tornadoes that this season is less than last year?

How are your sales this year?

Not really in that area more business/consumer products, But i do have a couple of clients in Gift arena usually in the case of disease , war and tornadoes the public are more lightly to spend a small amount on a gift that they wouldn't normally do just to cheer friends and family up.

No, the problem with Mother's Day is that most people wait until the last minute to order anything, which makes shipping a nightmare. I liked what 800flowers did, offering you a discount if you had your order arrive early.

Gotta run I have some last minute shopping to do :-)

IM in the jewelry business and my family jewelry is selling great. Up from last year but i think its because I am finally good at SEO. I dont think the economy has hit mothers day to hard.
