Has anyone had any experience with Comodo SSL Certificates? I know of the more well knowns (Verisign & Thwart). However, I have a hard time paying close to $200/yr. I not expecting to generate that much revenue from our online store and I don't think it would be worth the extra money for the same product. Comodo seems to have just started offering this product within the last year, so I am a bit leery of that, but $50/yr seems hard to pass up.

welcome fuzzatonic (something to drink?)!

switched 4 ecommerce sites to commodo 7 months ago. so much easier to set up and no problems except that some v4 browsers don't recognize the certificate - if they are concerned they usually email, but there are so few of them now anyway... when i switched they had a 30 day free trial.

wingslevel,

Thanks for the reply. No it is the title of a spoken word album by Bobby Gaylor. I have been using it for years. I have been checking my logs and I have not seen many, if any 4.x browsers. Almost all IE 5.5 or 6, and a few Netscape 6-7s. I think I will just take the plunge and go with them.
