Hey All,
I was planing to pick up the x-cart software but after reading whats been going on here i have my doubts and am totally confused...
I am a PHP programmer (starting out) and would like to test it before i actually use it...
Any of you have an old copy or something that you wouldnt mind sharing? I just want t know if its worth buying. Right now i am basically using PHPshop...no big problems but not so many options...
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
-Ryan

Welcom to WebmasterWorld RyanA,

here is an older discussion we had about it.
[webmasterworld.com...]

I haven't heard anything else much about it

Hey,
Yeah, I know, but that discussion is closed and i was wondering if anybody was willing to let me have a look at the code before i decide to buy register it as there are so many mixed opinions on this cart....

Cheers,
-Ryan

Haven't seen the code myself, I can't seem to find anything but the "watch us in action" demo.

maybe take a look at the comments here

Hi again,
Yeah, I did see that link before but I disregared it as I think its a paid link, and usually when a company pays hotscripts (which is mostly a free scripts site) they can write whatever they want and its not too descriptive there anyway.
I'm a kind of a code junkie coming from a Java and C background so i was hoping someone would let me have a go at their copy...

Thanks anyway dude.

Cheers,
-Ryan
