Hi!

I've got a client on a unix box that has cgi/perl and mysql running. Can anybody make recommendations for a good out-of-the-box shopping cart system. They don't need anything fancy, just email capability, interface with Authorize.net and a customer newsletter.

THANKS!

I saw someone considering VPASP on this board and I looked into it. Looks like a solid cart and very flexible.

Otherwise I would recommend Mal's E-Commerce. Basically free and not bad at all.

there are a bunch listed here
cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/ Perl/Shopping_Carts/

I tried perl shopping cart on google and came up with quite a few listings. I think you will have to download and look through their documentation to find one that you can understand and easily install.
