I have a question, I am planning to sell about only 20 products, but each product would have very customized product detail page, what is a good ecommerce script to use?

I used oscommerce, but find each individual product page a little difficult to customize.

What do you want to customize?

One thing that is important is to make sure that each page has elements like photos, buy button, contact us for more information link in the same place, to keep things easy for customers.

Companies like Amazon have trained people to look for all of these elements in a certain location and you run the risk of confusing people when you get too creative. :)

I think your looking for a bit more freedom of design etc arent you?

With only 20 products how about writing your own?

You could try this its not a shop, you design that yourself, its just a simple php shopping cart filled by links. get it from phpcart.net.

I am using it on my site. It works without a database but you could use a database if you wish.

Continuing with the idea Essex gave, I should say that it's a pretty good idea to design all the 20 product pages on your own and just provide an individual payment link (such as paypal) on the page itself.
You are welcome to send me a sticky if you need any help on that.
