Paypal alternative with shopping assurance?

Paypal is perfect for buyers, cause of its assurance on the shoppings, but Paypal is not perfect, because it permit to pay max 2000 Euro per transaction. Does exist a different Online Payment system that permit to pay more of 2000 Euro and at the same time to have the assurance on the shoppings?

For transactions of that amount I do not recommend PayPal or credit card at all because the buyer can too easily claim misuse of their card/account for a refund that puts the supplier in a lose/lose situation.

Payment by bank transfer is the only safe option. And if they whine about bank transfers being too expensive or not possible from their country, tell them that they will find a Western Union office in almost every major city in the world where they can pay by cash.
