Got a Woocommerce site which is fairly new which sells hardware (door handles etc)
I've currently got a product which is currently split into 4 seperate variable products
i.e. the below 4 finishes/colours are seperate variable items
black door handles (around 10 version)
Galvanised door handles (round 10 versions)
black on galvanised door handles (4 versions)
Stainless steel door handles (2 versions)
The black and galv options are all exactly the same, same manufacturer, same sizes and priced similar.
The black on galv and stainless steel are a bit more expensive and a bit more niche, so will leave those as they are.
What I am thinking is rather than duplicate descriptions across several products (as there is only so much you can write about the door handles), I combine the black and the galv handles as one set of variable products and write one really decent product listing and description.
The one thing that I cannot fathom is how do I write the product title / url for extra revelance considering the two different finishes and 10 different sizes? Will say Google automatically get this from the product description or is there a better way?
Can't find any in depth guide anywhere on setting variable products up seo wise, so is a bit of a mystery to me
Thoughts, ideas etc appreciated!
