Is anyone familiar with the program mailman that allows for emailing numerous people/creating lists etc...?
If so, what are the limits of sending emails out per day/hour, if any. Is there any chance of getting the server IP banned for spamming?

We used to use mailman and it was not the best product to say the least. We use Lyris now and we're pretty darn happy with it. You should check it out.
