Simple E-Commerce Solution?

I need to add buy now buttons to my site!

I'm working on my own website using HTML, and intent to sell around 50/60 products through the site.

I wanted to know other than PayPal, are there any better solutions available where I can add a 'Buy Now Button', so that once a visitor clicks on a product and selects buy now, it will take them to a secure payment page and they can pay via credit card, etc.

Can anyone recommend a company?

Thanks in advance!

If you are in the United States, you might check out Loud Commerce for a merchant account. I use them and they have been extremely help.

I've heard bad things about PayPal, so that's why I'm worried about using them!

Although they have an easy enough system to intergrate an online shop onto your website...
