How to eliminate all the junk code produced by SiteBuilder?

A client wants to keep using the free "SiteBuilder" design tool that Yahoo Small Business offers. So far his use of SiteBuilder has created incredibly heavy, junky code.

Is it possible to use SiteBuilder but eliminate all the junk? It looks like SiteBuilder adds it back as soon as I clean it up.

I had the same experience once. I tried desperately to get it to work properly and decided it was a waste of time. It took some doing, but I convinced the guy to let me build something in Dreamweaver instead. The Yahoo software stinks.

Two weeks ago a newbie was struggling with SiteBuilder and asked me to take a look at it.

Yikes!

It would have taken me a least a couple of days to figure that mess out and fix it.

I rebuilt the site in few hours outside of SiteBuilder, and did some basic optimization at the same time.

I am having the client purchase a low end html wysiwyg program to manage it in the future.

If that client insisted on using the SiteBuilder, I would of just refused the account.

Thanks a million for your comments. From the little I've seen you both made the right decision!
