Stuff being held in Europe?

I've done this many years, and only in the last few months we've seen a big surge in stuff going to Europe disappearing for long periods. I have to think with the brexit BS, it's more than just a coincidence. Even though nothing has been decided for sure, I'm thinking orgs are holding stuff, because they're either not wanting to get screwed, or waiting to try and make more money with changes. But of course, in the mind of the average customer, this is our fault.

Okay ... gotta ask ... what "stuff?" More importantly, where is is being held? Is there a ransom? :) (last is humor!)

Thinking the same as @tangor, I'm in Europe and I haven't seen any stuff that wasn't there before.

I guess there aren't any actual eComm people here. OK, thanks anyway.

ecommerce, stuff and Europe is pretty broad, any more specifics on what you mean? There has been stockpiling in the UK for Brexit for all its date variations, otherwise I'm out the loop.

i'm in ecommerce, selling retail into europe from the uk. i haven't noticed any upsurge in complaints from customers regarding late arrival of goods ... unless you are meaning something else?

The meaning (if I read between the lines) is that sellers are stockpiling/hording goods until Brexit occurs, in hopes that lack of trade will increase the value of the product (ie. gouging). OR complaining they can't get the product to do the same because other outfits beat them to it.

Either way, this is supply/demand and not a webmaster issue per se.
