European vendor wants to exchange links.

We sell same products different geographic location.

A vendor in Europe is suggesting we cross promote our sites. He wants to refer USA buyers to my site and I refer European buyers to his site. We sell similar products in certain categories. The benefit for the buyer would be quicker delivery since they are buying closer to their own area. It would also means less hassle with international packages.

Any opinons?

If you are NOT direct competitors selling in each others territory, then its an excellent idea.

especially if rankings in serps are good, and say people from Europe are visting the other guys site.
