As ive mentioned before I do a bit of bookmaking on the nags with one a major betting exchange, today I see paypal have agreed to act as a payment processor.

I always thought PP didnt like gambling sites so they are or are worried about new aggressive entrants on the horizon.

It makes sense as this betting site turns over £50 mil a week, I wonder why they did this?

EDIT: This is a little more information on "where", not "why". :)

If you click on the link for the PayPal announcement on the main page of that site, you will notice that it says, "PayPal (Europe) Ltd has updated its approach to gaming".

PayPal has not changed the gambling restrictions in its Acceptable Use Policy for the US. The policy changes apply to accounts covered by the EU version of the User Agreement, and you may view the Acceptable Use Policy section of that agreement for details on the latest Gambling Policy.
