Anyone use Braintree?

Does anyone here use braintree? They have been soliciting me pretty hard.
They seem to be able to save me money, but I don't know how they compare to Authorize.net.

Is Braintree fast? Stable? Bulletrpoof like Authorize? Is it user intuitive for customer service?

Is it worth reprogramming my custom shopping cart to accommodate braintree?

In the beginning of my company I used linkpoint and I often had checkout pages crashing until I went to Authorize, so I am apprehensive.

Braintree is Paypal now but to use Braintree you need a registered company when it is actually not needed for Paypal.

I use it and use Bigcommerce and have had no issues. We have used Authorize before and don't see much difference.
