easy to make 500$ / month?

I'm a college Student (or well drop-out, by now) and I need to make some money over the course of the next month.

Basically wondering if it's doable to do something such as
- (easy) link building (searching out directories) <--- aren't Indians renowned for this?
- set up a website for an affiliate product & join forums, where you may become an active poster (if you understand something about the topic, of course)
in order to make like 500$, if you're willing to work 10 hours for 20 days a month.

- writing content
- checking somebody's incoming E-Mail (not private mail, of course) and replying.

In other words, I'm not trying to come up with a great idea or get rich, right now - just wondering if there's a way like this to make 2 or 3 $'s / hour.....by doing something like this?

How about toolbars, screen savers, online surveys? (Does any of this work, if 2-3 $ per hour is enough for now)

(I am looking for a job - hopefully I'll have one soon, but maybe I won't).

I myself didn't made 500$ in a moth yet. Maybe it'll need some investment and some time to research on my niche.

I set a aff site years ago, 2004 I think - selling fishing boats, bass boats - sold one in 2 years but I also sold many other products related fishing. Made around $100 a month.

When ever there was a world crisis and the US army wee likly to be called in my sales shoot up always 4 of an item ! South Caroline where the base was I think.

Its a lot of work as Google will not allow a cookie cutter sit it was to offer something else with the links
