I have never seen this before, and I generate enough traffic for this to be significant, but sales are way down, starting November 9th.

Most of my sales have always been in the North East and West Coast, but not due to any political factors, but mainly due to climate and other factors.

I have ruled out all other factors such as competition, and the data is statistically significant.

Too many folks out protesting instead of using their computers or staring at their smart phones. When they get tired things will improve. Always does---but not overnight so grab a brew and watch a movie or read a book. This only happens once every four years ...

We diversified across several channels , so organic listings is just a small part of our traffic, but thanks for the link.

We also keep a very close eye on the competition, so it appears that half of the Americans, are angry, or in fear and depression, and that is not a good buying mood. And that is mostly the demographic that buys from us.

Guess I just have to wait until they work their way through the five stages of grief.

Depends greatly on what you're selling obviously. 2016 was a down year for me overall, especially towards the end. It has picked up post election. I've seen many signs of economic upturns and and overall positive vibe, which is to be expected with any pro business admin. But yeah... I guess if you sell to the liberal crowd, then they probably think it's the end of the world. Which it isn't. But NE and west coast are obviously very liberal, if that's your core crowd. If you're in the outdoors/adventure field, they tend to lean that way as well.

No change here. Things have been picking up for me, actually. It pretty much depends upon your niche, I believe.

Our dip only lasted about 10 days in November, and things went back to normal. I'm expecting another small drop this week as the result of the Presidential Coronation Ceremony, but I expect our American sales will get back to normal rather quickly.
