The technology is sound but the technical support is poor for the small store owner.
Yahoo takes a small percent of each sale, so the more you sell the better the support.
A yahoo store out of the box is so so, for the seach engines.
But there a several companies available that know how to correct this. I created specs for the platform several years ago and they have been "passed" around.
Personally, if I was going to open a ecom store today I would select the yahoo platform. I would love to find a better option, and I have evaluated and worked with many others. But yahoo is still the best of bunch with three stars out of five.
Some day I hope someone delivers a service that at least earns a four star rating.
