How many ways are there to drive traffic to a site?

Finally, out of frustration with having umpteen possible promotional techniques floating through my head for a client's website that sells physical products, I decided to write down all I could think of so I can start narrowing down to those with the most potential.

Some of them, I admit, are no longer very viable, but I figured I'd put down everything and work from there.
