AdSense VAT field?

Hello,

I live in Cyprus where the threshold for VAT registration is €15600 per year.

I earn more than that from Google AdSense while I make less than €2000 per year from direct sales of ads to local clients. Still, my accountant said that I should register for VAT, that I should charge my local clients VAT, and that Google AdSense should give me the option to enter my VAT number (once I get it) so I will not need to pay VAT for the AdSense earnings.

However I checked my AdSense account profile and I see no field for entering a VAT number. Is there such a field? If yes, where? If not, then how does the VAT thing work with Google?

* I know that Google takes care of the VAT, I am just asking regarding the accounting from my side.

We just append our VAT number to our company name if there is no vat field anywhere. this happens with a lot of online services. our accountants have said that as long as the vat number appears on the invoice it doesn't matter where ;)
