Hi All, Everything else being equal, how much more will a customer pay for a product with amazon prime as compared to the same product without prime.
Thanks

That's a tough one to be precise as everyone has different requirements.
The rate is likely to be different in one country to the next.
For me, I wouldn't pay it at the current rate.

As mentioned, it differs based on individual circumstances. I love Prime and will happily pay more for it. A recent example explains it (for my case anyway):
A product could be bought for $12.99 from the merchant or $42.12 via Prime. BUT the merchant charged $28.32 shipping and ONLY ships via UPS so it was 2nd Day Air and I would need to arrange to pick it up at UPS. $42.12 was the better choice because it shipped "free" and I know they will ship to my PO Box. It may depend on what you sell - if you want to increase orders from people outside metropolitan areas it makes sense. You can still continue to compete with the PRIME sales (AFAIK) - at least I always see the same products available with and without PRIME.
Yes, I realize that Prime has a yearly fee, but with that fee I get free books, movies, music and videos that I would otherwise either buy or pay for subscriptions. Plus I get cash back.

Saw a big thread on Amazon forums the other day, with people whining about Prime being more money. The majority claimed they weren't going to pay for it anymore.
