My company is looking to upgrade CMS systems for our ecommerce website and would like feedback on which system is better for our needs. We have some pretty hefty data with nearly 100,000 SKUs in our database and need a CMS system that can handle all of it, while still providing a good user experience. Also, I should add that we are looking for the enterprise version of each system.

Looking forward to your thoughts and recommendations!

Magento is yhe best for large ecommerce website , it contain millions of the product and it is also user friendly GUI and easy to understand the admin panel and easy to handle but Kentico is not friendly environment it does offer a lot of very good functionality at reasonable price , but it is not easy to understand their admin annel area and content area.. so Magento is the best platform for large eCommerce site.

I am a big fan of Magento for large sites. IF you have a lot of products or are looking for a very robust solution, Magento is definitely your best bet.

Yes, I agree, Magento should be your right choice. You can start with Community Edition, it's free, and probably has more features as you need. Also has thousands of modules and extensions, so you will definitely find what you need.
For the Kentico I cannot say anything, never used.

I'd go for Magento. I've been using for several years, and they both work great for me. I recommend Magento

I want to add a different spin to your query - try : [sitefinity.com...]
The enterprise edition is made for big clients and organizations in the likes of NASA are using partial or full blown CMS solutions from them.

If you want premium - check them out.

So many add-ons for Magento, and people you can find to hire for various things. Big fan for that reason as well as many other platform reasons.
