Google Listing

Hi,
I have just started my website on a web hosting service form aspspider.net.
But the web site does not list on google.I understand that could be due to no links going toward my website.
But even if I use the advanced option of Google to search only within a web site, even then it is not able to return any results.
Could anyone please tell me why is that?
My website doesnt have any redirecting links as well.But they are aspx pages could that be a problem.

It can take several weeks for google to even add your homepage to its index, and many months for all your pages to appear in its index.
All you can do is submit your URL to google (once is sufficient) and wait...

cheap and effective advertising methods?- not normally mentioned in the same sentence but how about handing out flyers to your target audience?

If you have no links going to your website then that is the reason your not showing up in google. You can submit until your face turns blue and you might never show up in google. Get some links!

Thanks I would like to do that but how can I do that? any suggestion where or how to get links from.

You don't need links to be indexed.
Relevant backlinks might well speed up the process of indexing, but with google's sandbox, you are probably still unlikely to see anything for months.
