I have a few complaints on complaintsboard.com. Should I respond to the complaints? My strategy has been to ignore them so they would have less content with which to rank but that doesn't seem to be working.
Ask who to take down the complaint? I don't think it's possible for the customer to do that. I have completely resolved several of the complaints posted there to the point where the customer is happy and enthusiastic. I've asked them to remove their complaint at that point but none of them have been removed.
I have heard that some of those places will never take down the complaint, or they will ask for a lot of money to do so. I would reply on the board that the complain was resolved and describe how. After seeing how a predatory company in my niche has ripped off many hundreds of customers, producing many many complains but yet ranks on the first page for many things and continues to do business year after year, I concluded that these negative reviews and complaints and whatnot do not have much effect.
