Sent something postal to a 3rd party customer in the Dominican, mid January 2013. Receiver rejected it because they didn't want to pay the customs. It then promptly disappeared, assumed never to be seen again.
Box shows up today out of the blue, looking like it had been around the world three times, and survived a civil a war. Product inside still looked like new.
