What are "dumps tracks"

Got emails about dumps track 1 and 2

I know this is probably related to a scam, but somebody wrote me about offering their services and then paying me with "dumps track 1 and 2"?

I try to Google this and all I can find are people saying, "We have good CVV. Fresh. High balance" but nobody really explains what this actually is?

I'm curious.

I see that past threads from people trying to market themselves were deleted. I was just trying to understand it better.

I think this is dumped content of Credit Cards Mag Stripe track 1 and 2. This gives cardholder name, card number, expiry date and other information [en.wikipedia.org...]

Basically, it is a fraud.

ok. something seemed fishy. The guy wants to send me a card machine to swipe cards or he'll swipe cards for me. I just had never heard of it. Thanks.
