What are some good suggestions as to ways to market my new e-commerce website?

Good Point sem4u, you would market in all arena's and work to target traffic internally inside your store to your product pages. For example I was marketing for a Orange County Choppers type site, I had a ton of categories so when you think about how you are setting up the store layout to make it work correctly.

Example Being:

Orange County Choppers Hats would show for that term and land on the index page of that theme section for better conversion. You can go even more detailed make sure you have good quality text to describe your product. The more text the better you will do...

Make the visitor feel like they are touching the product.

Thanks etechsupport, also a detailed product desciption is also a good way to get spiders closer to what you want indexed.
