I looking for a new cart for my ecommerce sites. Currently I'm using zen cart but there seems to be more than I need involved. I just want something that I can customize ie.. header and footer, and upload around 2-300 products. Any suggestions?

You could use some WP plugins such as woocommerce or magento. I prefer to go for a more professional look.

I vote for WordPress too. If you don't have a lot of products and want to have full control on your store (hosting and open source) then WP is the way to go.

I would vouch for Magento which is a professional open source eCommerce cms offering unprecedented flexibility and control. It allows a lot of customization depending on your business.
