I've read the glossy brochures from Braintree Payments, and I'm about to dive into their API documentation.
On the surface, their story looks good. No monthly fee, no minimums, fairly-decent rate (including AmEx), and payments in 130 currencies.
Has anyone used them? How do they compare to PayPal Payments Pro for credit card payments?
