What specials will you be doing?

Last year we had 400 orders on Black Friday.
We will be doing 50% off on Black Friday and free shipping in the United States on orders over $50
We will also be giving out a free gift with every order.
And we will be giving out a free product to the first 3 orders placed on Black Friday.

Cyber Monday we will do free free worldwide shipping.

We will start sending out emails on 11/19

we do sell a lot of gifts.

but never do any special offers on days like these, or infact ever.
although our products are relatively exclusive and can't be bought anywhere else (not our brand anyway) ...

Everytime we've done specials or offered free shipping on those days it bit us in the arse later. people buying the wrong size widget for a gift then getting hammered with returns after the holidays. Oh the joy of year end inventory. Our products are very specific... so no.. no gimics this year.

Is this for inventory-reduction purposes, or do you feel that you can make a profit shipping a widget to Tasmania, Zagreb, or Helsinki for free? I don't even think they celebrate "Cyber Monday" in those countries, like the U.S. press does.
