Hello,

Is it it possible to use a single paypal account with two different stores. Or, do I have to open an account for each?

Thanks,

ROMINO

Yes you can. Just open one Paypal account and create all items in Paypal.

I actually even think it is against the TOS of Paypal to have two Paypal accounts.

Harry,

I actually have my own store with its shopping cart. I just want to use paypal as a payment option. I don't want to use its shopping cart.

So, now that I have another store, I want to add paypal to that store too. Can I use the same paypal account there?

Thanks,

Harry

Hi. You can use one Paypal account with two Web store regardless of the shopping cart solution. I use a similar set up myself. So yeah, it's possible.

I use PayPal payment buttons on more than a dozen different sites all with one account.

The biggest drawback is with shipping.

We have a paypal shopping cart and have paypal IPN with a separate shopping cart. We keep our shipping options set to off, so a customer choosing paypal IPN with our other shopping cart won't get double charged for shipping.

The drawback is we have to offer free shipping with the paypal shopping cart because of this.
