Need a simple way to accept credit cards online

Hello all,

I need a really simple way to accept credit cards online but not using a service such as paypal.

I believe I need my own merchant account and a script to accept and process credit cards.

Any suggestions?

What is PayPal not an option?
You would need a merchant account, gateway, code to process the transaction SSL cert. (If you are setting an e-commerce store)

Authorize.net does have a virtual terminal. You can process the transaction on their web site yourself.
