Hi,

I'm looking to setup a merchant account that works well for accepting international customer credit cards.

I will like to accept the basic credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, but also accept JCB and Diner's Club or any other international credit cards if possible.

However, I will like to be able to process transactions in my home USD currency.

If the merchant account works with the Authorize.Net internet payment gateway it would be great but it doesn't have to; it can also work with other internet payment gateways if it doesn't work with Authorize.Net.

If anyone has any good recommendations on this can you please message me their information?

Thank you,

We use PayPal Website Payments Pro to process credit cards in 20 different currencies. We've had very few problems, as long as you turn AVS off (quite a few countries don't support it).

However, I will like to be able to process transactions in my home USD currency.

This would be a big turn-off for your international customers. Not only would they hit them with a "foreign transaction fee" for a DCC transaction, they would get a lousy conversion rate.

It gets worse if you have to process a refund. They get hit with the fee again, and they get a different lousy conversion rate (always in Visa's favor). They end up not getting their full refund, and you end up making excuses for Visa's policies. In the end, you look like the bad guy.
