2.9% / 30 cents per transaction. Volume is about 20K / month. This volume is split over multiple payment approaches, so really the 2.9% volume is much less.

This works OK for me, as I'm 100% profit, so it hasn't been a huge priority to do better, though I probably should some day.

I also have only had 2 chargebacks in over 10,000 transactions, so I'm pretty happy with my fraud management.

Is your rates for merchant account + gateway? Or just merchant account?

2.09% and $.30 actually. You can always find specials being ran and talk to your agent about getting a lower rate - or move to another processor

The Amex rate is just confusing, but ends up to be just over 3% for me.
