Does anyone know how long you remain on the TMF. I was told I would be removed in 5 years, is that true?

Depends on who put you on there and why. You can still get a merchant account while being on there - the processor will just want to know a lot of information and your discount rate might be a bit higher or you might have a reserve

I think it depends on the acquirer and the reasons why you have been terminated. I think the minimum period to be on the TMF is one year. It is probably longer for merchants/persons who have committed fraud/were trying to commit fraud/were accused of committing fraud. (There is a difference!) If it's just because your chargebacks were 1.2% instead of 1%, I think it's only one year.
