We are using a third party solution, Plimus, for credit card clearing in our company.
The following seems to happen a lot:
A user purchases product A successfully and then when trying to purchase product B shortly after, using exactly the same credit card he is getting credit card denied.
Plimus are explaining to us that there could be millions of reason for this (for instance operation looked suspicious to the credit card processor or his funds ran out from purchase A to purchase B) and that the user should check with his bank and that they are not receiving this information themselves from the gateways.
This answer does not seem reasonable to us, as this happens quite often...
Any ideas how can this be investigated?
