It is a service for additional cost with authorize.net gateway. I'm sure there are similar things in other gateways.

If you are getting a lot of fraud, then yes. Otherwise no it is not worth it.

OK. I don't know yet.

I guess I will wait until I have a full month of data, then try the one month free trial to compare.

To pay for itself, it would need to catch two fraudulent transactions that I wouldn't otherwise detect in a month, assuming no false negatives.
