Google Analytics - Visits Drop?

Hi,

Has anyone experienced a drop in visits this past weekend?

I noticed a big drop starting on Sept. 17th to the 19th; I'll have to wait for Google to update stats for the 20th, but hopefully things will go back to normal today.

At first I thought my items on Google Merchent Center were in-active, but after checking my items are still active.

This whole month has been screwy for me. Traffic has been steady but orders have fluctuated in an unpleasant and unusual way. Honestly, I think it's all the fear the media and our gubmint have been whipping up.

I don't think it's just the US. There's a global wariness over the economy. There are a few EU countries in trouble as well as the mess the US is in. Why the drop in visits? Changes to the algo, school started again, people spending more of their screen time to search for jobs or refinance their homes instead of surfing/shopping.
