How do you handle different currencies on your landing pages?

Hello, there was a question the other day that got me thinking about how international sellers handle pricing changes on their landing pages to different currencies:

"Hey thanks for the reply. I have two feeds also, but what I dont have are 2 different landing pages (one with the price in gbp). I can easily feed the us price, but on google uk it displays as GBP (even though its USD). I didnt want to get flagged for converting prices, so I was just curious what others might be doing. Thanks again."

I'm guessing some sort of script links up with the URL that's being clicked on, or is it a geo-location based service that does not rely on tracking URLs?

We add a currency url parameter, which sets the shoppers favorite currency. For example, if they click a UK Google Shopping link, "currency=GBP" is added to the url, and that shopper will see all pricing from that point forward in quid.

The price formatting is also affected, as French shoppers like their prices formatted like "8,77 €". Japanese shoppers don't use cents: "¥990".

Also, keep in mind that a dollar is not the same dollar in other parts of the world. AUD != CAD != USD.

We do not rely on geo-location, as a shopper located in LA may want to pay in Yen using his Japanese PayPal account. Instead, we provide a small drop-down selection in the corner.
