Hi,

I was just wondering, what does your weekly sales cycle look like? which days are your best/worst/average/good?

Sunday = Best
Monday = Best
Tuesday = Good
Wednesday = Good
Thursday = Average
Friday = Worst
Saturday = Worst

Thank you,

Sunday = Worst
Monday = Average
Tuesday = Good
Wednesday = Good
Thursday = Best
Friday = Average
Saturday = Average. Occasionally Below Average!

Thursday is usually best because it's the last day customers can order to get their goods by the weekend, without paying increased shipping costs.

Ours is pretty close to this although I would probably re-organize it like so:

Sunday = Best
Monday = Very Best
Tuesday = Best
Wednesday = Good
Thursday = Worst
Friday = Worst
Saturday = Worst

eBay is still a large component of our business so we've founded having some auction listings end on Thursday and especially Saturday (which is a big auction scooper day) helps even things out a bit.

I don't sell traditional product. But in terms of conversions, Monday's the highest, then it slides down to Sunday which is quiet.

Digitally

Sunday = Best
Monday = Good
Tuesday = Average to Poor
Wednesday = Average to Poor
Thursday = Average to Poor
Friday = Good
Saturday = Best

The majority of the time we have mid week dips, every 3 weeks or so it will stablize throughout though.

Cloudy, Rainy, Cold days = Best
Sunny, Warm, Pleasant days = Worst

Day of the week doesn't seem to matter.

Didn't run data for this
Sunday = Good
Monday = Best
Tuesday = Good
Wednesday = Worst
Thursday = Below Average
Friday = Good
Saturday = Almost Worst

I find our sales cycle mostly around pay periods - usually 1st and 15th. Obviously holidays seem to be low. Yesterday was really good - a Monday coincided with a pay day. This works well as people check in on Monday morning, obviously don't want to work and use the work computer to browse and shop.
