Phone order and mail order credit card processing for Australia

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a simple way to process payments via phone and mail order. At the moment paypal virtual terminal is only in trial mode in Australia. Anyone know of anything similar?

Simply get a merchant account from any of the major banks ANZ, Com, NAB etc. You can then take phone, Fax or mails orders and process them online.

Their fees will be lower than any other way.

Yes, agreed. A lot of people new to Ecommerce think Merchant accounts are some specialty thing you have to buy off some internet vendor. Every brick and mortar store that processes credit cards uses a merchant account, most likely from a local bank, that more than likely has support for ecommerce.
