Hi
I知 from USA and I知 looking for a non US merchant account for my software website
I知 processing aprox 8K per month with 0.8% chargeback rate (currently using paypal payment pro USA)
I'm looking for NON US direct merchant account
I checked and find that I can easily incorporate and open a business bank account in UK but
Opening a direct merchant account for new company without a credit history is impossible
What can I do ?
Are there a ready made companied with merchant accounts for sale ?
Is there any way I can obtain a non US merchant account ?
Thanks!

The phrase Catch 22 comes to mind.

Certainly there is nothing to stop you buying a controlling interest in a company that already has a merchant account but that would more likely be a going concern rather than an "off the shelf" company.

Maybe you should look to a joint venture with an existing UK company.

why not simply switching to moneybookers? Instead of paypal it's not only a processor - it's a real bank - fees are lower and support is grade a+++. I am using it since 8 years.

It is not impossible to open to open a merchant account without processing statements. Yes its difficult but not impossible. Your business model should make sense and other documents should make sense to the processors. Feel free to reach out.

There's Moneris in Canada. With that being said, why do you want a non-US merchant account?

Also, buying a non-US company just for the merchant account is not really an option. You'll now have to, at the very least, file a tax return in that country (even if you don't necessarily owe any taxes). More importantly...it is completely against the TOS of every merchant provider to process credit cards for another company, even if you own that other company.
